Tuesday, June 07, 2005 ( ah @ 6:23 pm ) it's hard for me to get a fever, but it's easy for me to feel awful, and weak, to the extent that i just want to sleep and sleep and sleep. but i didn't sleep. instead, for some reason, i did my trigo today. did until qn 6a, but skipped qn 4 and 5. i know, it doesn't come to much right? oh no! i think i'm driving myself nuts today. i dun wanna think about my maths. i dun wanna even think about the fact that there are exams 2 weeks later. but the fact that i am typing it down now shows that i am thinking about it now. *rolling my eyes* just thought of something that happened somewhere early this year, with my cousin. my cousins and my block is just separated by a carpark, and so everytime we need help, we just ask from each other. like say, sometimes, i can't use the internet, i go to her house to use*only when it's truly important*. when i get locked out of my house, which already happened quite a few times, i go to her house, and lo and behold if they are also not in. few weeks ago, i even went to her house to ask her to help me think up of ideas for my pi. yuck. pi. horrible. but this memory was quite hilarious. at that time, i needed black ink to print the botswana thingy, but my printer ran out of it some time ago, and nobody had bothered to refill it. so, i went to my cousin's house, only to find out that her printer ran out of coloured ink. omigod. the horror of it all. i had needed both ink colour, and she ran out of coloured ink, while i ran out of black ink. in the end, i compromised. those who were truly observant would have noticed that the first and third piece of the botswana article were in colour, but the second piece was in black. haha. wasn't it ingenious of me? haha. anyway, this is one of my best memory, okay, not exactly best, but it's funny, that's why i remembered it for so long. oh ya, i need to improve my vocabulary, so from now on, i am going to post some words that i may or may not know but which i feel is useful stymie/stymy: to thwart or stump-practically the whole class were stymied by the maths question their teacher gave them. stymied can also be used as a synonym for frustrated. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
