Saturday, June 18, 2005 ( audition @ 4:57 pm ) i reached the mrt about 10 min before we went supposed to meet, so i went up the escalator to walk a while. there was a 7-11, a Polar cafe, a soya bean stall, a newspaper stand, and other closed shops. went to 7-11 to 'browse'. then went back to mrt station to meet the rest. sharifah, serene and her boyfriend, and lyndia were already there. sharifah was not feeling well, so we went to buy some food. to make sharifah feel better. after waiting for our pancakes, vinot, haoren and hema had arrived too, so we set off to find far east square. walked past prudential tower, where jiajia worked. called her to ask her where far east square was but she didn't answer, thank goodness my friends were clever, and knew where they were going. but the guy still had to come fetch us so... realised that it was at spinelli there. from 10am, we waited until about 11am before the people finally decided to start. hama was first. goodness. i didn't really see her dance, coz beckie, lyndia and i were fooling around, and chatting. but after her turn, a professional dancer showed us an example of how to dance, and my gosh, he somersaulted in mid-air, and did some hip-hop moves that i know i will never be able to do. basically, everyone just anyhow danced, and tried to impress the judges. we were supposed to impress the judges, so mel was very cute. she blew a kiss to the camera. haha. beckie did too. serene danced really well too, but she kinda didn't really did anything seductive to the camera, which we were supposed to do. haha. one fireball of fun. except, sharifah developed a high fever while waiting. goodness. she had wanted to try, but in her condition, she decided not to. a wise choice. i'm so worried for her. i think vinot's dancing was kinda cute. haha. he kept making some signs with his hands, and later, when i asked him what he meant, he was clueless. forgot how he danced already. everyone was the same, all just anyhow danced. it was fun. as i said, one fireball of fun. even if we dun get in, at least we will have tried. ;P finally saw qinsi's boyfriend. haha. he makes very lame and cold jokes. sheesh, so cold. ;) mordant(adjective): sarcastic, biting, caustic, keen, severe~~sally had a particularly mordant wit which offended many people. 0 comments |
