Sunday, June 12, 2005 ( bored @ 8:36 pm ) Jiashan's birthday is coming soon. i advised her to make a wishlist for me, coz i believe in people telling me wat they want, then i buy for them. it makes it safer, dun you think? wat if the person doesn't like the present that i bought? it's that risky, so i dun want. and i dun appreciate people lying to me about the worth of the present they give to me. coz if people want to buy presents for me, it shows that they are willing to spend the money, and so, they shouldn't complain about it. (This is only directed to my ex-bestfriend.) went to thai express with my family today for dinner. my mother ordered pineapple rice, and suddenly i remembered my first experience eating pineapple rice. it was in malaysia, i think. my maternal family were having reunion lunch, and my uncle ordered pineapple rice. alright, the display was nice, but then, we dug in. and i thank goodness that i was already reluctant to take a lot at first, coz my first bite sucks. the food was totally horrible. i mean it. and i was not the only one who felt that. many people couldn't bear to continue eating the pineapple rice. i think we wasted a lot that day. but the one thing my family learnt is to not order pineapple rice from that restaurant anymore. i need to exercise more. seriously. and i need to start my revisions, else i'll die a horrible academic death. insouciant(adj): nonchalant, marked by blithe unconcern~ due to her upbringing, jessie has adopted an elegantly insouciant manner which makes her seem detached. 0 comments |
