Wednesday, June 22, 2005 ( Harry Potter and the Phoenix of Fire @ 3:51 pm ) i kinda hate and love this book. i love all the harry potter books, but this book is really really saddening. i hate the ending. and i remembered that year this book came out, j.k rowling had an interview. i heard that she kept crying and saying that she killed a character in her book, and my my reaction was, what crap! she wrote the book. she could have avoided killing off her characters. she could have stopped herself from crying if she had not killed off her own characters. anyway, it's true, this book is darker in a sense. everytime i read the ending, i start crying. i am too sentimental. i hate death. i know, christians believe that the dead get to go heaven, but i learned in sec sch that only a selected number of people can go to heaven, thanks to esther's brochure... anyway, the next book...i wonder who's the half-blood prince. but i think another character is gonna get killed too. i dunno why i still love harry potter though. i generally stop reading books from a particular author if they start killing off characters that a reader likes, such as nicholas sparks. i realise that in all his books, one character will definitely die. so, i dun read his books. self-delusion...sighx. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
