Wednesday, August 03, 2005 ( odc @ 9:10 pm ) shall start from chronological order. this is camp, must start from chronological order to make sense of it. ahem, so day one, i went to ser's house to wait for leona's father. i thought i was on the wrong bus!!! thank goodness i remembered where her house is. when i think i'm lost, i normally depend on familiar sights. so we waited...at the wrong place. goodness, had to hurry up and cross the road. haha, i guess i'm digressing. ok, back to camp. went there and first was um, this swinging thing. it was quite nice, and then there was the wall. still remembered that the teacher said that ours was the first class he saw who pulled all the people up by brute strength. yup, so we had bruises from there. i dun ever want to check how many i have. i know i have one. and that some of the others have a lot. but that's not the point. i did flying fox. haha. love it. i love that feeling. of flying through the air. then the last item for the day was the challenge pole. i looked up, and i staggered. i was like, no way am i going up there. wow, gab was really brave, she dared to go up. i applaud her. day two was hot. it was intermediate and high elements. i like it. i like going up, even though i was so scared, and i had to keep clutching the rope. there were two occasions when i couldn't move forward. the first time, i was like, why can't i move. oh no. oh no. something wrong. then i realised that the rope was too tight, that's why i couldn't move. second time, i was like oh shit, looser, looser. it's scary not being able to move forward, especially when i was so high, and i either had to jump or move forward. campfire was nice. for our item, we did this television thingy on channel 5, channel 8 and some advertisements. the channel 8 item was quite lame. but it was fun. i like this camp. and i was very lucky my father was near the area, around yishun when i called. otherwise, i know that i would have to walk home by myself. thank goodness he was able to fetch me. just learned something interesting. stewardesses is the longest word that can be typed with only the left hand. try it. 3x3eunt 0 comments |
