Friday, February 24, 2006 ( kidsread @ 8:56 pm ) but...kidsread yesterday was quite enlightening, coz i realized that i cannot be a teacher. i really can't, and this just reinforced my determination not to be a teacher. i'm not patient. there was this kid in my group who could not read out a word unless i prompted him, and i had a hoarse voice yesterday, and i had to read out everything instead coz he was really slow. and obviously, patience is a huge must, as well as a strong voice. i have neither. i was practically shouting yesterday already, as in, i was speaking in the voice i normally use in school. and yes, i always shout in school, that's why i'm so loud sometimes. but kidsread was also quite fun yesterday. haha. u know, thursday should be considered as a relaxing day for me, had it not been for friday. and somemore, thursday, i normally take the mrt home only at about 8.30 to 9pm, so how to study when i get home? but i dun regret having kidsread, coz kids are open in their feelings, and when they have fun, they have fun. when they are sad, they are sad. and it delights me in seeing their joy, and happiness, though the kids can also really be too sensitive at times. honestly. i feel like laughing at the way they interpret things just now. i think i have a deprived childhood. or else i miss my cousins too much. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
