Saturday, May 13, 2006 ( random @ 3:12 pm ) i like what i saw monday morning at the train station, while waiting for my friends. a blind man and another man were talking, and the man went to help the blind man get a standard card. unfortunately, the machines weren't working too well, so the man had to move around to different machines. i guess that the blind man was quite nervous, coz the man took a very long time. i considered getting up to help him, but i felt that the man was making all efforts to make sure the blind man get his card, so i waited. soon, two teenagers, i think they were in poly, walked past and saw the blind man. so then they asked him if he needed help...and the blind man gave them ten dollars. i was totally confused at that time, coz i thought the man was helping him. but the two teenagers met the same problem as the man had, and went back to tell the blind man. around this time, the man came back with the blind man's card. :) and the teenagers gave the blind man back his money. during this time, i realised that i dun actually dislike the blind singer who won in the channel u singing competition. i just didn't like the fact that he went off-key in the major part of the competition. but i felt that it's still really admirable, the way so many blind singers managed to become famous, and how they are all so self-dependent on themselves. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
