Wednesday, April 11, 2007 ( independence @ 10:21 pm ) i admire these people. their ways have the ability to make people feel closer to them, or to make them laugh. in retrospect, i have to say that my posts seemed only to make people roll their eyes and think...rebecca...haiz... ...and the fantastic thing which i have been hearing my colleague say a few times a few days ago if rebecca doesn't do anything funny, then you know that there's something wrong with her. where got?! but one common thing that i have been hearing everyone say, rebecca is so slow. perhaps yes in terms of jokes, but in other aspects, i don't rightly know...it's just that, sometimes, i just don't pay attention to a conversation until i reach a certain point where i suddenly started listening. but how easy it is to make people think that we are listening to them when actually we were thinking of our last experience in the shops, or a conversation with another friend. only thing is i dun hide it so well. if i dun listen, inevitable reply is ... rebecca is so slow. but actually, as i told some of my friends, if one day i am suddenly 'fast', wouldn't you find it abnormal? i would. and as i told many of them too, i prefer to be underestimated, coz to be overestimated, it is actually quite tiring. but as people says, i am me, and you are you, and we are all unique in our own ways. =] and i especially love the people i have met so far, coz they might be similar in some ways, but they are often very different in many other ways. cliched, but true. =] 3x3eunt 0 comments |
