Saturday, May 26, 2007 ( reflections @ 9:59 pm ) when i read artistes' blogs, i read them slowly if they are in chinese. js can vouch for me. i was reading it over the phone to her, and then in the end, she had to read to me. oh well, no one said i had the patience to read an entire post and in perfectly good chinese. granted, i could read the entire post, but the fact about the perfectly good chinese? moot point. i can't. face it. when i was giving tuition, and my student started talking to her brother (they are both chinese), the speed at which they were talking renders their conversation intelligible to someone who is not as strong as them in chinese, namely me. rme. in the end, i dun even have to pretend not to hear. i just didn't understand. if i were ever to go to china...wait, i dun even think i want to think about it. as it is, js will be going for six months...correct me if i'm wrong. but for so long...and she's not even free in june... and her birthday's sooonn.... and i dun even know when i can meet her again. i hope fervently that it won't be at the airport. and if things go bad for me, i might not even see her come back!!! should i take sats? i have no idea. but i do know that i'm starting to ramble. so i shall stop now. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
