Tuesday, October 23, 2007 ( reflective @ 1:06 pm ) a lot of my students ask me if the world will end 5 years later. my answer to them was, ' i dun particularly care about that right now, but if this really happens, then wow, exactly when i finished getting my degree i die, which would be absolutely fantastic.' one of them laughed. dun ask me why, it doesn't struck me as funny. i don't think the dinosaurs live their lives thinking that a great big meteorite is coming so they should just lie there and give up on life. and while i am very aware that no one can predict the lifespan of our planet, but i have enough faith to believe that it won't happen so fast, especially since according to what my brother said some scientists said, we were supposed to die out 2 months ago. but i do feel glad that people are taking note of the need to take care of the environment now. though the price of oil coming up isn't exactly my idea of a lesson, but perhaps this way, the more developed countries will make use of hydro electric cars more. i've been reading up on improving my facial condition and body condition. so, these days i've been going to sleep at 11.30pm and waking at 6.45am. waking up so early was to go and jog, but it has been raining the past 2 days, which i hate. i'm gonna get into shape by end of this year! and i seriously need to start saving up more money. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
