a video was shown in one of my classes today. it was about this true court case that happened in 1999, and in it, the defending lawyer was going, 'singapore is a regimented state'.

i suppose it is true. singapore has a reputation for being strict. at least this is how we know that at least our passports will always be stamped. only problem is when we go to johor or tuas, that's when some problems might occur. but that is not the point here. 

the thing that happened in the court case, i was actually thinking that it seriously shouldn't have happened. and i supposed that now, it definitely will not be able to happen because of the heightened security in the airport. 

i know that singapore has its good and bad, but sometimes, i just feel that at least, you know, it is a country its people can rely on.
