Thursday, June 05, 2008 ( @ 2:49 pm ) i slept at 6am this morning coz i was just chatting and chatting with some friends in their flat, and i got to play a bit of the sims 2, argh, the sims 2... i shall try to persuade my parents to let me install the sims 2 in the computer. but when i'm off in another country to study for months, the game will be stagnant there. hmmm, maybe i should buy the mac-compatible sims 2!!! oh my gosh, i like!!! hahaha. i can't believe i just woke up. freaking hell...vern was suppposed to wake me up at 8am, hahaha, i was expecting her to wake me up a bit earlier, and what do you know? she woke me up through sms, and then when i called her flat, i realised that she just woke up too. HAAHAHHA. but she said she's cooking green curry for us later. haha, yum! i like vern's cooking. i am becoming fat, and i am really serious, no comments on my weight when i come back to singapore! hahaha. cooked pesto pasta for my friends yesterday in their flat. =] i was never praised so much on my cooking before. HAHAHHA. and i like! my parents would be proud of me, because before i came here, the first seafood spaghetti i cooked was too salty, and then for the second seafood spaghetti, i was afraid that it was going to be salty again, so i added in sugar, then i thought that it would be too sweet, so i added in salt, and then i was afraid that it would be too salty, so i added in salt again, and then when i was finally afraid i might seriously poison my family, i called my mother and she took over. result: this spaghetti doesn't taste too bad. why? COZ MY MOTHER STARTED COOKING IT HALF-WAY AND WAS ABLE TO REMEDY ANY DAMAGES I DID TO THE PASTA! haha, i love my family. =] and then...i cooked white sauce tuna spaghetti before. it was okay...but my little brother refused to eat it. first he said it smelled like tuna, which i reminded him he ate all the time, then he said it smelled like mayonnaise, which i reminded him was always added into the tuna, then he finally just said 'i don't want to eat it' to which i said to him, 'doesn't matter to me, you will be the one starving' AND YOU KNOW WHAT? the silly little boy really didn't eat that pasta at all!!! watever. my last cooking experience in singapore. . cooking broccoli cheesy soup. vern told me not to attempt it, but i persisted coz i figured that if i don't try it now, i might never learn how to do it. so, i started cooking it. oh my gosh...it was positively too cheesy for my whole family...except my little brother, who smelled it and tasted it and then said 'yummy, the cheese is so nice'. and then, in the end, only i was the one drinking the soup. man... ...which is why when i come back to singapore, i'm not going to cook. all my cooking tests shall be done here. either i will be the guinea pig for my cooking, or i get my friends to be. HAHHAAHAH. =] anyway, i don't know why i listed all my failed cooking experiences today, i must still be groggy from my sleep. hmmm, whatever. (it's like my pet phrase now, must stop using it!) jiashan is going to cook me black carrot cake, and it's going to be her first time seriously cooking i think. i promise that if there is any ill side-effects i shall not tell her, coz i was the one who persuaded her to cook that for me, under her great reluctance. hahahah, love you gal! =] my examinations...study study....NOW! ok, shall study. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
