her answer was 'existentialism'. apparently, the definition in my mac dictionary is that it is a philosophical theory or approach that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will. 

i guess in simpler terms, it just means that the characters in the play were able to fully control their actions and even though it appeared aimless, the fact that they had a purpose understood only to themselves showed that they had a choice to stay there to wait and in the meantime, asserted their own individuality. 

but truthfully, i just read most of the front and the back. i think i skipped the middle totally, coz i couldn't see any sense in what the characters were doing. 

anyway, liying told me to read the book completely before she will discuss with me. i guess i have to do it soon since i have a drama presentation due this thursday and i haven't really prepared anything yet. 

so yes, i am quite dead.
