talking to yanling was like a godsend. i swear it was absolute fate that when i thought about her because i needed someone to talk to, she was online finally. surprisingly. and i was so happy to see her online. 

because i used to give her some advice when she had a relationship with this guy, she gave me back some of my own advice when i asked her if there's any applicable. "believe in serendipity. if it's meant to be, it's meant to be, and if it's not, it just is not. and it doesn't matter how long it takes, so long as there's fate, it'll just happen"

apparently, i can cut the situation up really simply and give really fantastic advice. (these might not be in her exact words but i'm sure that's what she meant. hahahaha. )

and she gave me one of her advice, "for the moment, just breathe and concentrate on your breathing, so do some yoga" 

i don't know, but i'm glad she's my bestest and oldest friend, considering that we know each other for half our lifetime already. 

apparently, both of us got punished in primary three because we got caught passing notes to each other. best thing was, she was a prefect, and a group leader. (apparently, i totally dragged her name into the mud. for which i am eternally thankful, coz that's why we are friends) 

hahahahaha. 

it was sooo embarassing...but it was how our relationship developed. and i don't know, but our shared history and penchant for being able to just talk to each other, it just can't be compared to anything else. 

(of course, this doesn't mean that i can't talk well with you guys, so don't be mad. 'sweeet smile')

and the best thing, she really did make me feel better, and i really am touched because she's paying for the phone bills using her own money. (yanling: 'yah, while you're typing out your post, the minutes are ticking away' oooops =])
