I was walking to bishan mrt from my house and i called harky on the phone.

harky: don't worry, i'm here.

me: ... ... i don't see you.

harky: (on the phone in pasir ris) ... ... ... ... okay!

Snippet 2:

While walking in bugis junction basement in search for lunch, harky suddenly stopped.

harky: bex, wait! wait!!

me: huh? for what?

harky: just wait!! ok. (starts shaking her head)

harky: did you hear that? that whoosh whoosh sound in my head!! it's soo clear!!

i was looking away laughing and pretending i didn't know her, but also trying to listen. 

me: no, i didn't hear anything.

harky: but it's so loud! you can hear it?!

me: i can't! 

harky: but it's soo loud!!

me: ok, you know what, let's go somewhere quiet and i'll listen again. 

snippet 3:

jacelyn, me and harky were walking to dhoby gaut mrt station. 

harky: wait!! is this quiet enough?

me: huh? oh oh, ya, i think so. do it now then. 

harky: ok.

jacelyn: what are u guys talking about?

me: you'll know in a while.

harky starts shaking her head vigorously again. jacelyn looks at her and looks away. i wanted to laugh but i also cannot hear the whooshing sound in her head, and i was becoming confused. 

me: i really cannot hear anything. 

jacelyn: what are you two doing?

short gist. harky told me she feels that after reading quizilla, she felt that her brain had become smaller and there was now a whooshing sound in her head when she shakes it. goodness knows why she will shake her head when she's alone but watever. so on msn on thursday night, i told her not to think so much and then i told her i will listen when we see each other. which resulted in the two conversations. 

we actually argued if we will look stupid doing it. i said no coz i was hoping harky won't remember it when we finally see each other. harky said yes, and she really did it when we met. 

Snippet 4:

at the library, in the book drop section, they have this video showing whether the books have been deposited.

harky: my books never go into the book drop correctly. i think they will most likely drop out. 

after depositing the books..

me: wow, harky, your books landed in the right place.

harky clapped her hands. 

jacelyn and i didn't know whether to laugh or not.
