Wednesday, July 29, 2009 ( @ 11:27 pm ) haha, i can't complain about the line above. but people normally listen to me anyway. so i can't say no one's listening. =] i stlll remember yanling saying that i'm a bimbo lorh. =/ i mean honestly..when they say chocolate mint tart, and there's a lot of mint leaves on the tart, you would expect that that's where most of the taste will come from right? hmmm....and yanling laughed at me. ok lah. i didn't really mean that. anybody could tell that the mint leaves were purely for decoration (i kinda feel that at this point, no matter what i say, people reading this will smack their head or shake their head at me and go 'omg, rebecca!!..') anyway, moving on. i met melissa again today!! and we went suntec city, marina square and rafflescity mall. supposed to be meeting only her this week, but haha, some of my friends caught me and made me allocate some time for them. =] and me and mel got attacked three times today, particularly me, and it was soo scary. one pushcart caucasian guy selling heated pads and head massagers asked me to touch the pad, and i wasn't interested. so i said no and started walking away. and then he actually put the heated pad on my back. i was like 'OMG!' and then!!! he wanted to put this head massager that looks like a spider on my head, i was like 'OMG!! NO THANK YOU!!!'. i think the guy saw my reaction and decided to take everything away. and then i dragged mel away, and not even one minute later, we got attacked by a woman selling v and m facial products telling us about the good characteristics of the cream. and we couldn't escape coz it would be rude. so we stayed and listened. and after spending like 20 minutes at her pushcart, we finally managed to get away. and THEN!!! at marina square, this guy with long hair came over and tried to get us to try his hair straighteners. HAVING HAD ENOUGH, i told the guy, 'it's okay, i have the straightener. i have everything already'. the guy actually said 'but you don't have this one!!!' please....i know what i have. i have a straightener, 2 types of curlers and a crimper. I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER STRAIGHTENER FROM A DIFFERENT BRAND. and mel was NO HELP!!! she laughed and laughed because i said i had everything. (turns out she thought i was just saying that to escape.) in the end, i told mel, 'when we get attacked like this again...if i'm the one being attacked, please drag me away. if you are the one being attacked, i will drag you away like how i drag you just now. i still can't believe you laughed when i saved us!'. i know that this is hard times...and the salespeople need commission...but this is no way to get money from me. tsk. but had a nice chat with debbie and qinsi. =] i love them all. (even though debbie and qinsi always laughed at me and mel didn't drag me away quickly.) HAHAHAHAHA. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
