Saturday, March 05, 2011 ( @ 8:25 pm ) i had trial advocacy on tuesday, senior mooting on wednesday, and scales on thursday. needless to say, i was a very deep sleeper on thurs night/fri morning, and i woke up really late. but it was fun. i had a real blake dawson lawyer for a judge for trial advocacy, and it was really good to see the interaction that we will probably have in a real court with a real judge, seeing as how he already announced that he was simply mirroring what the real judges do to him when he go to court for criminal cases. senior mooting...well...i got first in my court. but i'm not sure if i should be pleased or not, because i think that the other three in my court were first-timers. =/ surprisingly though, i'm quite proud of my argument because it actually appeared quite strong when i was presenting it. like i didn't know what the hell i was supposed to be doing, because the question was ridiculous, and i didn't know what to say, but like i said, i somehow managed to make a pretty convincing oral argument in the end. quite proud of myself in the end for being able to do that, but not that proud over being the first in the court. hahaha. and scales, we followed our supervisor when she was interviewing a guy and we did research and all that, and the end result? "in the first case i did, i learnt that clients can be really dishonest". there goes my fantasy world where clients will tell you everything you are supposed to know. =/ this thoroughly sucks. and then after that, we were supposed to have dinner with zoe because she came over for graduation, but we didn't get to in the end. well, i did! but shuying and annsley didn't. =[ was supposed to do work today, but i think i was too tired. so quite stoned today. hrm, must do it tml. =/ 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
