Monday, April 25, 2011 ( @ 2:02 pm ) whenever i think about it, i feel really sad. i heard my uncle's favorite song for the first time after the funeral yesterday during ktv. thankfully i was sitting in the corner, because the moment the song started, the tears started as well. i think this song will always remind me that my uncle passed away, because it was the song that kept playing throughout the procession when we were sending my uncle off. in fact, i never even knew that was my uncle's favorite song until the band of musicians walked in and joined our procession playing this song. my friend lionel was quite sweet. he said to indulge in things that a person we treasured love, so that we can remember him at that point in time. sadly for me, that song only reminded me that he's gone, and moved on to the spiritual world. the thought is sweet, the context is wrong. but it's good advice. other than that, the ktv session was good. it was actually fun. silly me, i decided to let the guys continue on with that song because i thought maybe if new memories are created, i won't feel so sad when i hear that song? it was almost successful. almost coz the guys started goofing off, but almost only because the grief was immense. i know things will change. maybe it's time we create new memories in kl. time for the kids to start handling the finances i guess (talking about me!). oh well. 3x3eunt. 0 comments |
